Coming from Krabi you could take a white taxi to go to Ao Nang, it take around 25 minutes. From Ao Nang you can also go to the Railey beaches by a 12 minute longtail journey.
Now it is always easy to get from Ao Nang to Railey, in low season too.

More excursion you can get to go to Poda Island, Ko hong or Paradise Island.

James Bond Island is 1 hours long tails far from ao Nang.

Ao Nang Climate

Ao Nang and Thailand basically has three more or less distinct seasons: hot ( march to June ); rainy ( july to October ); and cool & dry ( November to Feburary ). 

The weather always  is funny and pleasant, never more than 32° in hot season and never more than some hours rain in rainy season.

 If you would like to visit Ao Nang, enjoy it all the time, because it can be beautiful year round in this tropical, lush paradise.
